We will start shooting the new epic film "Beefart & Cheenkaw: Curse of the Dimensions of Death" this weekend. We will be shooting for the next 4 weeks, with hopes to have a Halloween premiere. This is the long awaited sequel to 'Beefart & Cheenkaw - The Motion Picture" and will feature the return of the amazing triple crime fighting force of Beefart (Blaise Kolodychuk), Cheenkaw (Terence Ramsay) and Laura McKnees (Kristy Lannan), it will also feature a slew of new characters, and some very special old characters from films dating back to the early 90's..... but's that's all secret for now. Beefart, Cheenkaw & Laura will meet some exciting new creatures... Prehistoric Beasts, Mermaids, Zombies, Aliens and even more terrible things await our heros in this new film.
I am ridiculously excited about shooting this, as it is probably my most ambitious project to date...

Here is a teaser for the new film... as I said, we don't actually start shooting until this weekend, so it is pretty abstract for the time being.. however if you have an intimate knowledge of the history of SC, and look hard enough, there may be some clues to what the mysteries surrounding this new adventure may hold.

It was lots of fun. We hung around for 3 days and talked to a lot of amazing people and saw some amazing things... I'm glad we went again. I plan on going next year as well. I find that the people who go to things like that Comic convention, are probably my most favourite people in the world.. I absolutely love them.. all dressed up and weird and having a good time and caring about things they all find important. It seems like a good way of life, and I fully support them. I hope the people who took home some of my DVDs and CDs and stuff really enjoy them. The important thing is that I got to give free DVDs to some kids and got to spend a weekend with my best friends Elaine and Terry, and saw Linda Blair with my own eyes, and briefly met John Amplas, I even briefly met Scott Johns, which was astounding. All in all it was a fun weekend, and a few more people on Earth know about SC Entertainment, and how for almost 30 years a strange man has been making ridiculous things in his basement with his friends.

As amazing as the internet may or may not be... i can't find a complete bootleg set of every episode from pj katie's farm.. which is possibly one of the best children's shows ever. I can't even find a bootleg dvd of 1 episode for pete's sake... anyway, on the topic of amazing kid's shows... my own little show called space station zero is taking it's sweet time getting new episodes out, and i would like to apologize for that. it is taking longer than expected to get it all made.. and having christmas and everything else to do sets things back as well. I filmed another movie a couple weeks ago also.. it is called planting buttons and will be out at some point.. but again i have gotten ambitious and i need to do loads of miniatures and stop motion and other stuff to make it as cool as it is in my head. it is pretty cool, and back to my old school experimental weirdo horror art house kind of ways... so that will be nice.

Other projects on the go include dinojubilee recording sessions, a new album by me, getting prepared and trying to get some live gigs with dinojubilee. and all sorts of other things that take up more time than i have in a day.

Just a short note to let everyone in the universe know that the most amazing animated space adventure of all time is now done! (well done rendering anyway...) There will be more announcements in the coming weeks about how it will be released and where you can get it or see it or whatever!

So soon I will be able to get on with all the other projects that have been piling up over the last 6 months.. such as Ten new episodes of Space Station Zero, a new album by me, Blaise Kolodychuk.. which I have already recorded about 13 tracks for over the last year and a half... some possible upcoming live shows by Elaine Boyling and Dinojubilee, New Dinojubilee recordings... as well as some old fashioned experimental horror that has been lacking in my life as of late.

But never mind all that now... SLIM-BOT is done!!

A Slim-Bot website will be up within the next week or so I imagine.

I would like to send out a massive apology to all the children of the known, and unknown universe... I realize that there was new episodes of SPACE STATION ZERO planned for an August release. However, because of the huge amount of work that I have been putting in to the children's space adventure / animated extravaganza and amazingness which is SLIM-BOT, I haven't had the time to complete the first new episode of Space Station Zero... The good news is that the new episodes have all been shot, and it is a matter of filming various other short segments, and making lots of cartoon bits... but it may still be a while until the new episodes are actually released. I am going to spend all of my time finishing SLIM-BOT before I do anything else.

It has been 27 years since SC became the most important thing in the universe....

Summer time full assault on my limits...

I can not remember a time when I have been so totally busy with everything in the universe.. it isn't just the projects I am working on now, but it is also all the projects I have going on in my head that I am figuring out and planning and hoping for... not only that, but life outside of SC Entertainment (which really is included in life inside SC Entertainment as well) is very very busy as well... In the last couple months Kelton and Mikaela have decided to live in the SC commune permanently, and it is amazing... here is a look at what kelton has been up to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoG2ViFwvkk (it is only a test, I will post a link to his latest short film when it is available)

Anyway, I have been spending my time, as you know, making the new Space Station Zero shows... which I am behind in.. but it will get rolling soon.. I am almost done the first episode.. and just need to film a couple more segments... but the down low is that it is better than you could imagine.. because it is as good as the first batch from 3 years ago.

The other project that has been taking up all my time is Slim-Bot.. which I got a grant to make courtesy of the alberta foundation for the arts... Slim-Bot is a massive undertaking of really low grade animation and space adventure... I would say it is about a third done.. but really it is probably less than that... I am loving it and am totally happy with how it is turning out so far...

Not only will it be the most amazing animated film of all time, about a Robot's travels through space with the only survivor of a colonization ship.. who happens to be amazing at making bread, on a mission to find the love of Slim's life, Helga-Bot.. and to free slaves and end the oppression of ghosts on goo planet... but it is also a live action kid's show starring Kristy Lannan, and Terry Ramsay on a western outpost on the moon!

That is enough to excite every last one of you.. I hope.

Space Station Zero Has Begun Shooting!

Last weekend almost the whole crew of the new Space Station Zero show got together and did loads and loads of filming! It was super fun and worked out amazingly! Captain Blaise and Captain Zeep were in good form, and Captain Marisa is more amazing and funnier than she has ever been! In one episode even Captain Elaine, who usually only transmits her messages from Earth even visited the Space Station for a bit! And some new friends who you will get to meet, like Captain Suzie, and Space Cadet Miette, who are staying at the Space Station, while Space Station Yellow 52 is getting renovated. And There are even more surprises to come in the months ahead.

I plan on the first episode of the new series to hit the internet some time in early August... with episodes following that every couple weeks. You will be happy to know, that due to lack of money we were unable to sell out, and the show is just as much fun as it always was... with piles of songs and crafts and cartoons and all the space station action you can imagine.

The super amazing fantastical stop motion animated epic film OLIVE is once again being worked on in the newly contructed home of SC Studios...
Olive is a movie about a girl... her name is Olive. She lives in a world in the back of a very old cellar inside a very old terrarium... and beyond. Olive is trying to find friends, and keep people okay. However there is a particularily grumpy wolf made of clockwork who seems to think Olive took something of his.

Massive SC Films internet project

I have decided that all the SC films made from 1989 until the present should be available for everyone on the planet to watch... And so I am uploading massive amounts of video to the internet... in various locations. The problem is that a lot of SC films pre-1999 had other people`s `copyright`music in them... and youtube don`t like that very much... so i am trying other sources that might not notice things like that as much...
anyway, that`s my problem, not yours...

So far I have 60 out of 95 short and feature length films on line. Most of what is left are films that are only on VHS tape, and I need to convert them to digital the hard way to get them on line.

Anyway, that is what is going down... In other news, BEEFART & CHEENKAW is going to be released next week... as well as UNICORN MAKING A VIDEO... both are ridiculously fantastic... and I hope you enjoy them... I will soon be setting up the new home of SC Studios and starting work on the stop motion animation 'Olive' again... which will be very exciting for me.. as I love that movie very much...

I will update in a little while with more info on the SC Upload project.. and hopefully I will have a webpage where it makes things very easy to find the movies you are looking for.

Well SC turned 26 on August the 27th... I would have wrote my annual "Why you should love SC more than anything else in the whole world" article for the website then.. but I have been without internet.. I am still without internet.. but I will be back soon, and I have plans to redesign a lot of Internet SC Land soon.

By the way, Internet SC Land is gigantic... bigger than I ever remember.. It is this website.. which if you actually dig in to, is really huge. Not only this website, but also the fukachuk egg machine website, which is also huge.. the space station zero site.. the death ray gun site.. the elaine boyling site.. and the kolodychuk.com site.. out of state, zebra for sally.. and all sorts of other things i always forget about.. like the fowler creek site, and the SC20 site.. and god knows what else.

I spend a lot of my time doing this stuff... and I hope you people all appreciate it.. I would love it if you liked it all.. but thats just impossible... but as long as you appreciate the fact that me and Elaine, and Terry, and Gord.. and all the rest of the SC Brotherhood are out there doing this... and still not getting paid.. after 26 long years.

Hello.. it has been almost two months since I have last updated this website.. I apologize, as I haven't been quite myself lately... but on to more exciting things.

I have been working on and off for almost a year on an idea I had to make a new film.. and it is finally being realized.. it is very exciting. The film is called Olive, and is about a girl named Olive who lives in a terrarium in the basement of a very old house.. she goes on a rather astonishing adventure and meets some very astonishing people and things. There is obviously a lot more to it than that, but those are the basics.. it is kind of a fairy tale in a lot of ways, and it is all stop motion animation. so it is probably going to take me forever to finish... but the important part is that i have finally started.

I have also started coming up with a plan for a new sort of children's show / cartoon / variety thing... it is still a little rough right now.. but the basics are that it will have an old west / outer space kind of theme to it.. with an emphasis on the old west. it will be hosted by our two favourite sock puppets in the universe, Hank & Gerald.. and have different parts with an on going cartoon adventure about Ruby, a cat from the Old West in the future... sort of thing.

At any rate it will be very exciting, and I am hoping to get Terry Ramsay involved, and perhaps some more friends from Space Station Zero...

This summer should produce some very exciting things from SC.. so I hope you all start salivating in anticipation now.

I have found a box of amazing things from SC's sorted past, some old SC newsletters that I thought for sure had been lost forever years ago, and some old catalogues and a bunch of other things.. at any rate I have updated the 'SC Archive" section to reflect these exciting finds.

I would encourage you all to check out some of the things I was up to in the mid 90's... not so surprisingly it is kind of exactly what I am doing right now.. only with paper and stamps rather than with this neat-o computer!

I have also converted all the issues of SC Propaganda to PDFs.. so it may be slightly easier for you to read them all.. and you WILL read them all.

I kind of look like hell.. probably just because thats the way I look these days.. but it's a good song either way. The response from the new record has been really good so far, and i'm glad people are actually listening to it. If you don't have it yet, please contact me at kolodychuk@gmail.com. So the new fukachuk egg machine double album will be out on Feb. 14th..

It is called "Looking for Lizards" and has 25 new songs split in to the two albums 'lost in the forest' and 'building the swing' I have been working on it for months and it is a culmination of many different things that have happened. There is a lot of Blaise in this record.. probably far too much.. but it makes for something that I am very proud of and something that means a great deal to me. It also simply just sort of kicks ass on top of all that. So it is 2 CDs as well as a 52 page book that is actually kind of really beautiful. The whole thing is kind of a beautiful little package dedicated to some music that means a lot.

So here's the deal.. I would like for everyone on earth to own it free of charge.. as usual. But the truth is.. this beautiful little package of amazingness takes a lot of work and money to make. So I propose this solution:

I will be having a draw for 10 free copies of the double album.

Please send me your name and mailing address immediately to be included.. I'm not joking when i say it could change your life.

On february 14th I will draw 10 names out of some sort of container and post the winners on the sc website.

Looking For Lizards.

I have been working almost every single night non stop for the last 3 months or more on a fukachuk egg machine record.. heck, I started recording some of this stuff before the last record even came out... any way it is nearing being finished now.. and will be released on February 14th. This is a very important record and I just wanted to tell you it was coming. It will be a double album.. something fukachuk has never done before.. it will have 25 new songs and be more amazing than anything you have ever heard in your life. anyone who knows anything about me knows that the last few months have been.. well.. eventful, to say the least. but my point is that I have obviously had a lot to write about and think about and scream about and sing about... my other point is that this is a good record.. and i have been doing things with music that i have never done before.. and it is all very exciting and very big.. crushingly so.. anyway, you don`t come across a record like this very often in your life.. it is called "looking for lizards." disc one is titled 'lost in the forest' and disc two is titled 'building the swing'.. from start to finish the whole album is connected and lays out a story and an idea, and takes you through most parts of all the things that have made up fukachuk egg machine over the last ten years. I can't really stress enough how much this record really means to me.

It also includes a 52 page book. Because there is so much that goes in to the whole 'looking for lizards' package, I won't be making too many of them. We are upon a brand new year of potential SC excitement.. what adventures may or may not unfold?

the last few years have been creative monsters and i don't expect myself to let up any time soon. last year saw the release of a zebra for sally, and all sorts of death ray gun excitement.. as well as FOUR fukachuk egg machine records... i think it might have been a personal best in that department.
2007 was spent in a space station.. and filming zebra for sally. 2006 was the year of out of state and space cow... and it goes on and on..
This year will hopefully see the creation of several projects I have planned. I am already in the midst of recording the most important and greatest fukachuk egg machine record of all time... it might be a double album... and i have big plans for it.. the music i have made so far is something new and exciting and beyond anything I have ever tried before. I have been planning out and sorting out and figuring out a new film i want to make about a girl named Olive.. as it stands it is going to be completely stop motion animated.. but i have changed my mind about this movie a lot.. so we will just have to wait and see what my brain decides to do when it's time. I know the story, and I know that Kristy Lannan will be Olive.. if that mean acting, or just voice work, I don't know yet. Another project I want to make this year is the super amazing Beefart and Cheenkaw Adventure.. it has been in the works way too long.. and the script is the best writing I have ever done in my life. I just have to make it I think... maybe when it gets warm out again...
All these things are super big deals.. life changing stuff.. and it is just the tip of the mountain which is sc entertainment in 2009... I also promise to continue my crusade to fight for justice in the universe.. and I shall do it with lasers and death ray guns...

A Zebra For Sally is the best movie you will ever see.

A Zebra for Sally is a movie I made.. I made it last year and finished it this year.. and I don`t really know what happened after that.. I think a few people saw it, not even all the cast and crew were there at the big unveiling party we had.. and I use the term party very very loosely. At any rate I needed to say more about this film. I have heard some criticisms about it, and I have heard a lot of good things about it.. but at the end of the day when I add everything up and I think about all the things that I went through to make this film and all the hard work from so many people.. from Terry getting covered in pudding, Barry stripping down to his underwear and getting covered in glue and fake blood.. or Kristy tirelessly and endlessly doing everybody`s make up plus her own almost full body make up every day.. to Christine who never questioned me, even when i told her to carry around a stuffed zebra and stare at the canned peas in safeway for 15 minutes while I secretly filmed her with a camera hidden under my coat. I didn`t even mention Isaac, because he was just so amazingly cool he transcends quirky stories. At any rate, when I take all that in to consideration, as well as all the personal crazyness I had to endure by actually making this bizarre ghost story with no money, no free time and no one but myself telling me what I should do.. at the end of the day, A Zebra For Sally is without a doubt, the best movie ever made. And it means a hell of a lot to me. I have heard people say that Out of State is my masterpiece.. but I disagree. Out of State is fucking genius, and in reality it was more hard work, and it was bigger and longer and had more action and adventure... but A Zebra for Sally is really my baby.. it is beautiful and exactly what I wanted.. from the hazy images and the classical backwards bizarro soundtrack that is the dictionary definition of atmospheric.. to the way ever one acts in that movie... it is beautiful.. sally is sally.. the sally from my head.. she is wonderful..

perfect. And Dale... oh my lord.. it has been over a year.. and I still think about the way she is with Father Woodman when they are sitting in the room... how she gives that little look off to the side.. that, without a doubt is my proudest moment of film making ever... and it has nothing to do with me.. Dale is simply just possessed.. and I caught it on film.. and I love it.

I could really go on and on and on about how much I love this movie.. and all the reasons it means so much to me... but my point is, it really is beautiful. and you should watch it.

It is best watched on TV.. e-mail me for a copy if you want it..

and if you don`t have the patience or the motivation to actually get yourself a DVD copy of it.. I have it on-line for you to watch.. You might have to be in the right mood.. you might not.. who knows.. but you should watch it.. If you look at it in the right way, in the way I intended, and twist it to be everything you ever needed.. then it can change your life..

So here's the scoop. It is September, and there are a couple new things that have happened.. and about 50 million new things that will happen... unfortunatly most of those things are still secrets.. so you will have to wait.. except let it be known that I am currently writing a new movie to make, and it will go further beyond anything that has ever been done... i know I say that every time, but it is also sort of true every time.

Any way.. new things.

Hello. This isn't Blaise but never mind. He told me to post here if i ever wanted to, but that was a while ago.

Blaise didn't do anything for the SC anniversary on the 27th as far as I know. Him and Terry were going to drive around. Now they didn't do that which means that thank the weirdness of the universe for vaguely connecting SC Entertainment with the ghost universe. In the other place and a bunch of dimensions the celebrations go on forever.

Blaise didn't run out of time. He is simmering in the juice in his brain. And something is happening. But not on the SC Entertainment 25th Anniversary.

The reason is possibly the number seven.

The most common number people pick if you ask them to pick a number between 1 and 10 is 7, for some reason. I learnt that from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. SC is 25. 2 + 5 is 7. That means that this is a year of other people for SC. Uncommon people.

In the I Ching, which i do not understand except that it is complicated, and everything and then nothing, the 25th hexagram is Wu Wang, Innocence (The Unexpected).

So. a few things. There are a lot of things I don;t know which I am sure Blaise could write about here better than me. But some things I know that Blaise did around the 25th Anniversary was get excited about other people to do with SC. The boundaries are blurry of course, which is sort of the tension. Maybe he's scaring himself.
These aren't SC things but they have something to do with SC, because its very exciting, i think. Blaise's friend Vahini sent him 2 issues of the zine she started making. I haven't read it or anything, I only saw the envelope and the paper for a few seconds. anyway. Whatever you need to worry about in your life, somewhere Vahini is making those things, and writing and drawing and the other things she does. Its pretty exciting.

Another pretty exciting thing I know about it Kelton Kolodychuk is making a movie which will horrify you beyond the depths of your crumpled souls, uncrumple you and give you antlers. I don't know when it will be done. He also created the more earworm song you ever imagined which is Fish Berry Goose Brain (i hope that is written right) which is more than worth dancing to. The other thing he did lately was record himself singing and playing guitar with a wolf mask on about how he dances like Zam.... something I can't spell.. but its genius anyway. And he says things all day like "if you say you can't do it then you won't, but if you think anyone can do anything then you might."

Then the other thing that not enough people in the universe witnessed which strangely is a vibrant force not appearing in this journal before i don't think but anyway Mikaela Bridgen perform the 72 hour performance art operetta on The Future Guy. Honestly, thank the stars that you were born in this world, when things like that happen. It was about the future guy and his future clothes which he was selling to people, from a rack. The carnage was unbeatable.

My sister gill has been making clothes. Especially bows and small things with bats and skulls on. She also has unbelievably brilliant hair and snarl. You can see some clothes she designed here:

And its how it fits together with people around. You know they are out there and you have no reason to stop.
Other people blow my brain up into tiny bit then keep on exploding the bits into smithereens until it turns into goo. and its brilliant.

SC is 25 years old on August 27th

Hello.. it's true. a quarter century of SC Entertainment is upon us...

I was supposed to have a super fantastic new issue of SC Propaganda ready for this momentous occasion... and I was hoping to have some sort of amazing SC festival or something.. somewhere... but alas... time has run out, and I have run out of time to do a lot of things as usual. I hope it doesn't detract from your own personal celebrations.

SC is what it has always been... a place for people to create things, without having to worry about all the things that the world has put in place to make a creative environment a restrictive and sad thing to be a part of. I have done my best over the years to change the entire universe by making weird music in my basements and pointing video cameras at people doing bizarre things... it is only that on the surface obviously.. it is me really trying to bring people together and trying to make people see that things are possible... trying to help the people involved understand all the huge amounts of things that they personally can do that they never thought could ever be possible... and for anyone who gets to see or hear or touch anything that SC has made to open up their minds to realize how big the world can actually be if you look at it in such small pieces. and just by these things existing, it does something for everyone else who doesn't even know they exist...

it would be a nice thing if everyone could just open up and spill out all the things inside...

what i hope for the future of sc... i hope it happens... i hope some how people all over the world will realize that they CAN do what they want to do.. and not worry about feeling stupid or left out or marginalized in any way. SC is about looking at all the things around you that are happening, and really finding all the best parts of it.

you can either watch vacuumicus and see a shitty zero budget monster movie.. or you can see it as something totally amazing that was made out of nothing by some friends who really cared about something special.

thats what i mean by sc.... and my hope is that people can really open up to the amazing things that are possible by EVERYONE.

What can you do to help? Don't walk by when we are planning something huge... find out how you can be a part of it... everyone has something they can do that makes them feel good... and I'm the kind of person who can use what ever you got....

(I'll make a werewolf movie one day... i promise........)
