World of the Uncanny begins shooting in 1 week!

This massive project begins shooting on October 13th, and I couldn't be more excited! Already plagued with problems and huge things that needed to be overcome.. we are still ready to go and prepared for the worst! This is easily the biggest thing I have ever attempted as far as movies go.. so chances are it will be the greatest achievement of my life so far... I would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped donate to make this film possible... your money is already gone.. spent within a matter of minutes on incredibly cool things! Go ahead and check out the teaser trailer for this... and keep all your fingers crossed and wish us luck on this adventure!

29 Years of Exciting Art

Today is August 27th.. that means it is SC Entertainment's anniversary.. it has been exactly 29 years since me and Terry came up with a name for the weird things we do. A lot of things in the world have changed since 1983.. mainly, I am taller. Other than that though, I am still making up crazy stories and music and stuff and making my friends take part and have fun whether they like it or not. Me and Terry and Elaine, and all the other people through the years who have helped us to build a huge HUGE catalogue of music, and movies, videos, comic books, stories, and all kinds of interesting artistic projects are heroes! Yes, that's right.. we get nothing in return, we occasionally get people telling us to stop bothering them, and sometimes if we are lucky we get people telling us that they liked something we do. This isn't our job, or how we make a living.. though I wish it was.. but it keeps getting done, year after year.. making what I consider to be the world's greatest films and music.... anyway.. we rock, Happy anniversary SC, you are awesome and have given my life meaning. Word up.

A few years ago we made a documentary about the history of SC.. if you have a chance today, please check it out.. it may give you a greater appreciation for our life's work.

The script for the next installment in the amazing Beefart / Cheenkaw / Bo-Bo / Laura McKnees / Earl Nakesch franchise is on it's way, with filming scheduled to start in the fall with all new exciting characters, the most diabolical villain you could ever imagine, and possibly the weirdest most exciting and mind blowing story we have ever come up with! I'm starting to understand why I am poor, as everything I do is given out for free. The good news is that if I actually charged people to listen to our music and watch our films, no one would actually do it, and nothing would ever get seen or heard. Thats not exactly completely true I guess... on occasion people do pay for things, and it blows my mind and I get mad at them. Anyway, I guess we can be happy that we can still listen her.. it`s like a little club of cool people who have a secret handshake or something.. and our handshake can be dino coloured and smell like violets.

Twenty years ago Me and Terry Ramsay were but children of 16 years of age. However we were clever and dumb enough to create perhaps the greatest rock and roll in the history of Beaverdam Way. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of theformation of DADS WITH NO FACE I have put up 20 of the best live tracks from DWNF's beautiful past. The songs feature me, Terry, Scott Johns, Paul Whittington, and even Terri Dennis in our first super star expedition in to the land of punk rock.

Remember the days when people were out there learning HTML and putting together amazing and bizarre and confusing personal websites, so the world could know more about them? It was beautiful, and had far more style and excitement... but people don't need personal websites any more.. they have facebook, which takes care of everything, and gives the world all the information you could ever want about anyone.. and a lot of information you don't really want about most people. 2012 Calgary Comic Expo

SC Entertainment is going to be at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo again this year! This time we will be in the Scorpio TV booth, hanging out with Blain, who has generously invited us to sell our stuff there this year.
If you go to the Expo website (link above) you can get the address, direction and a map of the whole event.. it is ridiculously fun and cool. We are at booth 108.
Along with Blain's huge amount of cool DVDs and other things he is selling this year, you will be able to come down and pick up lots of different things from SC Entertainment.. such as: Beefart & Cheenkaw - Curse of the Dimensions of Death, Slim-Bot, The original Beefart & Cheenkaw film, Unicorn Making a Video, Olive and other very cool DVDs. Not to mention the brand new fukachuk egg machine album 'Mighty Planet' as well as the amazing Dinojubilee CD released this year 'People Like You'
